"Ano Ito?": "What's This?" Tagalog Vocabulary Board Book

Teaching your kids a second language can be tough, especially if you yourself are not fluent in the language you are trying to teach. Books, toys, games and flash cards can help, but if you’re not sure about the pronunciation, what do you do? My kids have a paternal Filipino grandmother and I often get “How do you say ____ in Lola’s language?” And most of the time I have no idea! So I decided to have “Maa Hathaa?”, my Arabic vocabulary book, translated to “Ano Ito?”, the Tagalog version. But since I have minimal exposure to reading Tagalog myself, I had some recordings made and developed them into an ebook so we can learn together! Both the board book and the ebook cover 99 Tagalog vocabulary words, such as colors, numbers, shapes, body parts, clothes, bedtime, food, fruits and vegetables. Enough to start our Tagalog learning journey!

And for this weekend only, I’m offering the ebook for free! So if you have Filipino friends and family or even if you’re just curious, you can click here to download. Tell your friends!
