There’s something special about sitting down and reading with your kids. But reading a book in a language other than your first can be daunting. What do you do if you’re not sure how to pronounce a word? Or even most of the words in the book? I am personally of the opinion that even if your pronunciation isn’t the best, you are still benefiting your kids by exposing them to other languages at an early age. However, I also understand how undermining to your confidence it can be to feel like maybe you’re teaching your kids incorrectly.
